THE ARTISTS: This is the first time Trevor Linder will create a mural in the public realm. He is currently in his final years of receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Entertainment Design from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. He has taught art at Pasadena High School and for the past four years been the orientation leader at the Art Center College of Design. He is a freelance concept artist in the entertainment industry.
THE ART: 16’ x 32’ - Sponsored by United Rentals, Public Storage, and The Oxbow School
THE STORY: The artwork was inspired by the time he spent traipsing through the hills of the Napa Valley while growing up. During one of these trips, he took a nap and had a vivid dream of hummingbirds. The beauty of the animal has struck him ever since. Whenever he sees a hummingbird now, he is reminded of adventures with friends and the rich natural beauty of that the Napa Valley has provided to him throughout his life.
THE PLACE: Located near California Street
